It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Uptown Mall in Uptown Bonifacio as it officially unveiled and lit up its 40-feet Christmas tree.
Adorned in red and pink blooms, balls, pine cones, and warm LED light, the tree exudes elegance that complements well with the premier lifestyle establishment.
Megaworld chief operating officer Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso, Megaworld Foundation president Francis Canuto, and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls head Graham Coates led the ceremonial tree lighting which was preceded by a flash mob performance of children from Bantay Bata.
The Christmas launch event dedicated to young children also featured musical performances by The Voice Kids champions Edray Teodoro and Lyca Gairanod.
“Christmas is all about the kids and we want them to believe in the season’s magic and put smile in their faces. Our goal is to inspire Filipinos this season of sharing by going beyond the usual display of splendor and focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, which is sharing happiness,” Coates said in a statement.
Megaworld Foundation also spearheaded the ceremonial turnover of gifts to the representatives of Bantay Bata Foundation.
Uptown Bonifacio is encouraging its mall patrons to share their time in protecting and preserving the environment this holiday season through its Uptown X Earth program. Uptown X Earth gathers various brands, non-government organizations, and Uptown Bonifacio’s retail partners in a concerted effort towards promoting sustainability and reducing the mall’s carbon footprint.
The mall is also holding a pre-holiday sale, where shoppers can enjoy up to 70 percent off and other great deals from participating stores on Nov. 15-17. Guests can also shop for gifts and other sustainable products at the Christmas Market and pop-up stores on the upper ground floor of Uptown Mall.
