Balanga City, Bataan—The Sangguniang Panlalawigan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia has asked the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) to put historical marker to the monument of hero Tomas Pinpin in the province.

The provincial board during regular session passed the resolution acting on the letter of Gov. Abet Garcia requesting NHCP  “to establish and install historical marker to the monument of Tomas Pinpin located in Brgy. Mabatang Plaza, Abucay, Bataan”.

Board Member Popoy Del Rosario, chairman of the Committee on Tourism, motioned for the approval of the resolution.
