Celebrating unsung heroes

Graduating student Dara Mae Tuazon regularly teaches at least 30 street kids various practical and values-based lessons in her makeshift classroom along Gastambide Street in Manila.

Through this endeavor, Tuazon hopes to make a difference in her community by instilling the value of education to these kids.

“I want the kids to be able to study or graduate so when the time comes, they can use it. Education is also for them, too. It will allow them to work and overcome life’s challenges,” Tuazon mused about her passion project.
