This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

SHADOW, an eight-month-old-kitten, changed the lives of owner Ron Lim and other members of the family.
“Shadow came into our lives by sneaking up our store window and searching for food. My Dad started feeding him with treats and from then on, he would come by more often. Eventually, He never left us, “ Ron recalls.
“Shadow loves entertaining our customers by laying around and stretching out his legs as if telling everyone, be careful not to step on me, “ Ron says.
Shadow loves cat food and fish if his furdad gives him that too.
“We give him a bath once a week and he enjoys the water,” Ron shares.
Shadow, in turn, gives good paw massages, Ton says.
“We love him dearly!! I can't imagine life without him,” Ron says.
SYDNEY, a three-month-old half-breed kitten, was found in the corner of the store of Regine Galicia who adopted him.
“He was so dirty and thin as if dehydrated na. It touched my heart so I took him in and gave him fried fish and water,” Regine says.
“As the day days went by, I noticed that he likes catching roaches, “ Regine adds.
“After giving the TLC –tender loving care — he transformed into a handsome cat as you can see in the photo, “ Regine says.
His favorite food is fried fish and cat food. He is also crazy about his little stuffed toy frog. He is smart and gentle too, says Regine.
“Sydney also loves to scratch his back against my leg,” Regine says.
