Leading vehicle importer Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. reported sales of 2,795 units in April, up 17.4 percent from 2,381 units year-on-year.
Sales of HARI in the first four months of 2019 as a result rose 13.5 percent to 12,744 units from 11,224 units on year, bucking the flat growth trend in the industry.
“Coming from a challenging year, we are delighted to report three straight months of robust growth underpinned by strong sales of our core products, customer experience solutions, and strategic initiatives in place that are now bearing fruit. We have several projects in the pipeline that will further strengthen our existing business while giving us flexibility as we explore new revenue streams,” said Hyundai president and chief executive officer Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
