Culture-inspired township in Pampanga

Megaworld is bringing its township lifestyle experience to northern Luzon and hopes to light up the skyline of San Fernando, akin to the communities of McKinley Hill, Uptown Bonifacio, Eastwood City, and Newport City.  San Fernando, Pampanga boasts of a storied past that makes it an ideal destination for anyone looking for new discoveries. Connected to the city is the history of the Pampanga Sugar Development Company (PASUDECO)—the first Filipino-financed sugar mill in the country.  Here, Megaworld is building a 35.6-hectare township named Capital Town. Set near the provincial capitol, the development will have residential, office, institutional, and commercial components. It will also open a six-hectare shophouse district, inspired by neoclassical architecture reminiscent of the 1950s era.  Chelsea Parkplace, an 11-storey residential development to rise within Capital Town, is envisioned to become the center of arts and culture in the province (Seen in photo). Taking inspiration from the iconic neighborhood of Chelsea, New York, the residential development promises the same charm as the apartment buildings of Manhattan, while blending with Pampanga's bucolic environs.
