The Wyndham Hotel group recently entered Malaysia’s capital city with the opening of the 107-room Ramada Suites Kuala Lumpur city centre. Formerly known as Invito Hotel Suites, the all-suite hotel now operates under the Ramada brand flag thanks to a franchise agreement between Trinidad Signature Suites Sdn Bhd and Wyndham Hotel Group. This latest Ramada hotel is the first of five new Wyndham Hotel Group locations due to open in Malaysia before the fourth quarter of 2019, including the 170-room Ramada Resort Lumut, the 257-room Days Fraser Business Park Kuala Lumpur, the 322-room Ramada Encore Meridin Johor Bahru and the 322-room Ramada Meridin Johor Bahru. “Our expansion in Kuala Lumpur, one of Asia’s key gateway cities, is a sign of our continued commitment to building a powerful network of hotels and resorts across South East Asia, particularly in key capital cities, to meet rising demands,” said Barry Robinson, president of Wyndham hotel group South East Asia.
