Senior officials from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) recently visited the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Terminal 2 as part of a tour of successfully implemented public-private partnership projects (PPP) in the Philippines. The visitors wanted to  to learn about the implementation, challenges and best practices in such projects. The delegation, comprised of members of the Lao PDR Ministry of Health and Ministry of Planning and Investment, also visited the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the first intermodal transport terminal in the country. Both MCIA and PITX are flagship projects of the Philippine Government under the Build, Build, Build Program. At the tour, coordinated by Polestrom Consulting Inc., were senior officials of Lao PDR, GMCAC chief executive adviser Andrew Harrison, and ADB consultant Cosette Canilao (center).
