Manila Standard Viewing Party cheers for Greenwich’s Next in Line

For the second time, Manila Standard held its viewing party–this time for Greenwich's new project called "Next in Line," a dance video featuring Julian Trono, Yassi Pressman and G-force.

It was the first time MVP watched the video, although they were familiar with Yassi Pressman and Julian Trono, and GForce (who were all Viva talents).

The video is a reworking of the AfterImage 1995 hit "Next in Line."

Before the dance video, the viewing party was shown a lyric video of the original version. A lot of the members thought the song sounded like a "graduation song" (well it IS kind of a youth anthem).

It made the party more curious as to what the new video would look and sound like.

As it turned out, the song, which was reworked into a dance track, is still representative of today's youth, with a more hiphop vibe and catchy dance beats. The video was specially commissioned by Greenwich to promote their Lasagna Supreme, in line with the company's "barkada" concept.

While watching the music video, everyone noticed the vast difference of this remix from the original one. It sounded more current and in tune with the music genre millennials are into these days.

The MVPs also observed that the video was set in Manila and showcased the inherent charm of the city.

The MVPs enjoyed The smooth moves of Julian, Yassi and G-force who moved like a wel-oiled synchronized machine. The dance track featured special lifts and flips that made everyone cheer out loud.  The whole viewing party agreed that this was a great way to advertise Greenwich's Lasagna Supreme as well as have everyone take notice of the young new talent the Philippines has to offer.

Watch out for the next edition of Manila Standard's Viewing Party.
