THE Tanduay Athletics-Philippine Volleyball Federation National Inter-Collegiate Women’s Beach Volleyball Championship starts Saturday at the twin sand courts of the Cantada Sports Center in Taguig City.
Southwestern University of Cebu leads the Visayan challenge, while Jose Maria College represents Davao after topping the eliminations last Sunday.
Capitol University comes from Cagayan de Oro, St. Joseph College from Zamboanga del Norte and University of Luzon represents Pangasinan.
School, Colleges and Universities champion Rizal Technological University lead teams from National Capital Region, while University of Perpetual Help-Laguna represents Luzon.
De La Salle University, Far Eastern University and University of Santo Tomas have also been invited and are expected to play in the two-day event presented by Tanduay Athletics of sports patron Lucio “Bong” Tan, Jr. and co-presented by Asia Brewery of Mike Tan.
Wilson is the official ball.
All participants and officials will be billeted at the Cantada Sports Center.
