In its goal to strengthen its foothold in the domestic market, Ford Philippines is currently staging a road show which brings the brand closer to the people. Dubbed as the “Ford Island Conquest”, the road show started last January 27-29 at the Festival Supermall parking lot.
Patrons were given the opportunity to test drive the Ford vehicle of their choice with sales personnel on hand to answer any queries about Ford’s built tough fleet. “This is a great opportunity for customers to get behind the wheel and experience for themselves why each of these global Ford vehicles has become so popular here in the Philippines,’ said Minnie Valencia-Bustamante, vice president for Marketing and Sales of Ford Philippines.
The Ford Island Conquest venue represents a cross between a scaled-up showroom and a test drive venue with highlights and design twists that will offer the ultimate test drive for the Everest, Ranger and EcoSport. Fun-filled activities are also available for the whole family.
Early this month, the “Ford Island Conquest” set up camp at the Bonifacio Global City. The festive atmosphere complimented the family oriented activities while others busied themselves around the tent area for a closer look at the SUV line up which included the Ford Everest, the Ranger and the Eco-Sport.
One of the brand’s best seller is the Everest, which is engineered for a comfortable cruise through the city or to effortlessly take on any off-road terrain. Its bold and stylish design features a quiet, refined interior, smart technologies, exceptional on-road dynamics, and capabilities that include best-in-class ground clearance of 225mm and water-wading up to 800mm.
A benchmark in the pickup truck segment, the Ranger is a tough vehicle with its unmatched combination of quality, passenger comfort, and versatility. With 237mm ground clearance, 800mm water wading, and unsurpassed towing capacity, noflood can intimidate this smart and ‘Built Ford Tough’ truck.
For urban young professionals, the EcoSport is the perfect vehicle because it combines the maneuverability, affordability, and fuel economy of a compact car with the practicality and spaciousness of an SUV. With a 200mm ground clearance and best in class water wading capability, the EcoSport’s versatility can take on any urban adventure in style. Ford plans to replicate the event in strategic cities around the country to raise awareness about its vehicle line-up and special promotions.
