Davao City - President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday bared a long list of politicians, judges, soldiers and policemen who are allegedly involved in illegal narcotics trade.
Duterte ordered the immediate revocation of police powers for all the mayors in his list as well as the relief of all the police suspected of coddling drug lords.
"I order the PNP chief to remove the police supervision from the mayors and licenses of policemen are cancelled," Duterte said during a wake at Camp Panacan for four soldiers killed in an ambush with communist rebels.
"Judges report to the Supreme Court, policemen to the PNP chief Rolando dela Rosa, and the military to General Ricardo Visaya within 24 hours," the President added.
Duterte said the list will be validated.
"I could be wrong but it cannot be. There will be validation of these names," he said.
"I am the one reading it and I am the sole person responsible for this one," he added.
