This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

For contributions, please email to [email protected] and put My Furry Bestie as subject.

TOBY is so adorable, says owner Dinky O. Magno, specially when he poses in front of the camera.
“He is our bundle of joy,” adds Dinky.

CHEETAH, adopted  by Dr. Celeste Gruezo from an animal shelter,  loves to eat fish and meat, and loves to play with a small ball.

Cheetah also “stretches and purrs a lot and is good at hunting mice,”  says  Celeste.

Celeste adds,” Cheetah is a very sweet and gentle cat. Perfect for cuddling!”

COLOSSUS, CALEESI , CAIERA, AND CARLISLE   (left to right) are referred to as Familia Pomeranians.

“I am proud and lucky to be their furmomma. They are so adorable and smart,” says  Camille Madriñal.

Rida and Cassie love to chill out at the care home. Rida was a two-month-old pup when a motorcycle hit her. The impact cost her one eye. Cassie, a four-year-old beagle, has sagging breasts which means she was bred. She  had  ear mites and  demodectic mange (galis) when  Save ALL took her in.

Princess, about 7 months old, is now safe playing at the care home for rescues.  She was almost hit by a vehicle on busy San Mateo road when admins NIcole Benedito and Ruby Bautista saw her. They pulled over and got her.  She was born blind in one eye.
