New year, new makeup techniques to try

Dare to be different this 2019 by experimenting with new makeup looks and routines. EB Advance, the premier line of homegrown Ever Bilena Cosmetics, shares the following tips to level up your makeup game:

New year, new makeup techniques to try
Try on new makeup looks and routines this 2019.
Highlight over foundation for skin that glows from within

The usual step that most makeup junkies follow is to apply primer first, then foundation. But to achieve natural-looking, glowy skin, switch up your makeup routine a bit and brush on EB Advance Glow Out Highlighter on the high points of your cheeks, bridge of your nose, temples, Cupid’s bow, and chin right after priming. Dab on your favorite foundation then proceed with the rest of your routine. You may also opt to intensify your highlighter by adding another layer after finishing your makeup.

Smudge eyeliner for an effortlessly cool smoky eye

Want to have a subtle glam look but lack the time and skill to do it? A smudged eyeliner will do the trick. To cop this look: apply a thick line of EB Advance Eye Define Waterproof Matic Liner above your upper lash line and use a brush to smudge out the eyeliner. For lashes, use EB Advance Lash Define Waterproof Mascara for an edgy, smoky eye look.

Experiment with colors

Make 2019 the year you play with eyeshadow colors that you don’t normally use. If you’re the “no makeup, makeup” type, try adding a pop of color like the blood red matte shade in EB Advance Uncover 2 palette. If you’re the adventurous type who prefers loud colors, this time around maybe you can try the muted, neutral ones.

The products mentioned are available at Ever Bilena counters nationwide.
