Smart innovation has paved the way for homes to become technologically advanced, so much so that even turning lights on and off can be controlled by an app or voice command.

Global lighting company Signify launches Philips Hue in the Philippines. A personal smart lighting system, Philips Hue allows people to control their lights in their home or from anywhere in the world using a smart device.

The brand combines intuitive technologies with high-quality LED lighting, available in more than 16 million colors.

Wil Dasovich tries the Philips Hue app which can change the light bulb into 16 million different colors.

Curious how to use the smart lighting system?

Philips Hue lights can serve as a gentle wake-up call in the morning by automatically increasing brightness to ease users into the day.

Welcome you home

Philips Hue can be set to welcome users home after a long day by enabling the geofencing feature on the app. It can also be set to a variety of moods with light scenes like Tropical Twilight or Tokyo Lights or a customized scene.

Sit back and chill

Users can also set up an immersive entertainment experience by syncing the lights with music, videos, and games. They can also easily communicate through voice commands with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Nest, and Apple HomeKit, and even synchronize the smart lights with Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
