This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

Pia, the calico bully kitten, was limping and was thus rescued at the gate of the subdivision.
“She was hit by kids in the area with a stick made of wood, “says rescuer and now her fur momma, Maricel Mondejar.
Maricel fed her, cleaned her, and showered her with lots of love and care. Today, she can walk straight and runs fast whenever Maricel will open the door of their room. She will just run around the house merrily.
As she could when I open my room.
Megan, on the other hand, is a two-toned ginger cat, who was hit by a vehicle.
Maricel saw Megan on a grassy lot in front of her house and immediately brought Megan home. At the house, she discovered that he is male.
“While I was cleaning him, his private part was covered with fur which hardened with urine. This is because drags his legs after being hit by a vehicle, “ Maricel adds.
“I never changed his name, “she says.
These rescue siblings as Maricel call them likes bonding on her bed.
“They are my miracles everyday, “Maricel says.
Zhoey is a two-year-old shih tzu- beagle mix.
“While she is a handful and is always getting into things she shouldn't, at the end of the day (or whenever she feels like it, or you sit down, or you even just stop moving), she is always ready for a good snuggle, “ says her furparent DFerdinand.
DFerdinand adds: “Zhoey just buries her face into your neck and barks away. She is most definitely the best snuggler, and at 2 years old, those snuggles are coming a little more often.”
