Loco for CoCo

The milk tea fever has taken over the Philippines, as seen on the long queues at virtually every milk tea shop.

One of the strong players in the milk tea game is Taiwan-based CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice, which has been warmly received since Larry Tan brought it to the country five years ago. “A cup is sold every four minutes via GrabFood alone,” the company reported.

Bringing back the love to its Filipino patrons, CoCo recently mounted the CoCo Chill Camp, a three-day event held at SM Mega Fashion Hall during which CoCo buddies enjoyed fun activities for a chance to win CoCo merch and GCs.

Here are five items from its menu which curious customers should try.

Caramel Chocolate Cream Slush

The newest addition to the brand’s growing menu has perfectly combined two favorite flavors—caramel and chocolate. It is topped with salty cream, that brings a whole new layer of flavor.

Panda Milk Tea

Like the colors of the beloved panda, this milk tea comes with small white pearls and the regular black pearls. Make no mistake, though, as these pearls were not just added to the drink for no reason, they add a distinct flavor and freshness to the beverage, thus making it one of the bestsellers of CoCo.

Its version of milk tea is all about being milky and creamy, perfectly blended with the taste of black tea. What makes the people say CoCo’s milk tea’s “worth the wait” is the balanced taste of its three fundamental ingredients—milk, tea, and sugar—resulting in a refreshing drink.

Passion Fruit Tea Burst

Feel the summer anytime of the year with this refreshing drink. It features a well-blended fruity taste and comes with coconut jelly and pudding that match the taste of passion fruit tea.

Salty Cream Chocolate

CoCo’s signature topping, Salty Cream, has always been giving a kind of balanced yet luscious taste to its lineup of drinks. But with this one, the saltiness of the cream matches the richness of the cocoa. The added pudding makes it more delicious.
