The Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. and Vicsal Foundation-organized Metro Community Bazaar features artisanal food items and healthy drinks, as well as upcycled accessories and trendy home products made by groups that provide livelihood to marginalized communities and individuals.
Shoppers in the month-long bazaar, ongoing today until July 31 at Metro Supermarket Alabang, Muntinlupa and Mandaue, Cebu, can choose from products from MRSGI CSR partners such as upcycled accessories from the Artisan Women of Tondo, and Moringa Tea and Powder products from GreenEarth Foundation, Inc.
Also featured at the event are the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Caritas Segunda Mana, Coca-Cola Philippines, Habitat for Humanity Philippines, Philippine Red Cross, and St. Arnold Janssen Kalinga Center.
The community bazaar is part of the company’s ongoing celebration of the National Corporate Social Responsibility month.
