Samira Grill’s Chilled Beetroot Soup

Samira Grill at Anya hotel in Tagaytay is serving Father’s Day dinner with a side of welcoming ambiance. Executive Chef Jonathan Bouthiaux prepares a special degustacion menu that starts off with an amuse-bouche, starter, main course, and dessert.

For the amuse-bouche, indulge in Chilled Beetroot Soup with feta cheese foam and rosemary, Fine Avocado Tart with passionfruit and sautéed prawn with paprika, or Classic Bulalo stuffed in poached choux. Follow it up with either Ricotta Ravioli topped with roasted almonds and herb pesto or Wild Mushroom Soup. 

Main course options are a stack of Short Ribs, a a spiced Salmon, and Italian Pumpkin Gnocchi. Cap off the meal with Peach Melba, a sweet and divine dessert of poached peaches with vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet, and toasted almonds. 

The special Father’s Day degustación menu is available until June 30 for P1,850 nett per person.

Fathers who love Japanese food will delight in Kitsho’s Father’s Day set menu good for four dining guests. 

The special set menu on June 16 is composed of soup, appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Dads also get to enjoy a complimentary glass of beer or, if he wishes to enjoy more than a glass, he can simply opt for unlimited draft beer at P380.

The set menu is priced at P2,488 (inclusive of VAT and service charge).

New World Manila Bay Hotel’s in-house restaurants offer a variety of options for Father’s Day lunch or dinner. 

At Li Li, dad gets to choose from two special Father’s Day set menus filled with authentic Cantonese dishes starting at P2,288 per person, available for both lunch and dinner. Dad dines for free when accompanied by three paying adults. 

Market Café has a specially curated lunch and dinner buffet spread featuring farm-to-table salads, fresh seafood on ice, Asian specialties, European classics, and desserts priced at P2,800 per person. 

The special Father’s Day dinner set menu at The Fireplace, priced at P3,000 per person, features steakhouse salad; chorizo and roasted corn soup; Argentinean Angus tenderloin, foie gras butter, pumpkin mash, arugula, red wine sauce for the main course; and a plate of dark chocolate fondant and peanut butter ice cream for dessert. It comes with a complimentary glass of wine.

Grilled meats at Pacific Lounge

The grilling station at Pacific Lounge in Pan Pacific Manila heats up on June 15 as the restaurant offers a special Grill and Barbecue dinner buffet. 

Starting at 6:00 p.m., diners enjoy unlimited serving of aromatic succulent meat, ribs, steak, chicken, and pre-dinner cocktails best complemented with choice of local beer, house wine, and standard drinks. Dinner buffet is at P1,200 net per person.

Eastwood Richmonde Hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Eastwood Café+Bar, is serving up a delectable spree of unlimited steaks and crabs on June 16. 

For only P995 nett, dads can devour the mouthwatering offerings at the lunch and dinner spread that include Brazilian Short Rib Barbecue, Hanging Tender En Croute, US Rib Eye, Crab and Shrimp Gumbo, Louisiana-style Crab, Mac and Cheese with Scallops and Truffles, and Baked Oysters and Mussels. The live cooking of Camaron, a Mixed Salad station, Cream of Broccoli soup, and Beer Cake and Teppanyaki Ice Cream for dessert, complete this indulgent banquet. 

Everyone also gets a free glass of lychee iced tea while dad gets an extra Heineken beer. As a special treat, dads dining with four paying guests get to eat for free. 

Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., while dinner is at 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Nobu Manila’s brunch spread

Only a few things beat a Sunday brunch with dad’s favorite bunch. Take him and family to Nobu Manila which is serving a lavish brunch buffet on June 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Father’s Day Nobu Sunday brunch highlights the restaurant’s famed Japanese-Peruvian flavors with Wagyu or Kobe beef sliders and fresh-off-the-grill assorted beef cuts and seafood rice at the Teppan table; grilled items such as pork ribs and umami chicken at the cabana area; and an assortment of kushiyaki with chicken, vegetable, and seafood choices, served with wasabi pepper, teriyaki, or anticucho sauce.

The hot buffet line features a selection of salmon with honey soy glaze, vegetable tempura, okonomiyaki, chicken katsu, miso soup, and other specialties. Mussel garlic wasabi and crispy oyster mushroom are served pass around-style. Complementing these are a variety of greens at the salad station, and an array of sashimi and rolls. 

The dessert table includes breakfast pastries: croissants, pain au chocolat, blueberry muffins, madeleine, Danish pastries, and cookies; and decadent sweets such as warm homemade green tea brownie cake with black sesame ice cream, hazelnut streusel with yuzu cream and mango jelly in glass, amaretto tiramisu cake, and ube crème brûlée with almond biscotti; and milk chocolate fountain with fresh strawberry, choux, and yellow meringue.

The brunch buffet with regular beverage package is offered at P2,950 nett.
