Salvatore Cuomo & Bar, the eponymous restaurant chain of the restaurateur and celebrity chef known as the pioneer of Neapolitan pizza in Japan, serves authentic Italian cuisine in an elegant and modern setting--perfect for the discerning set looking for a venue for their holiday dinners and get-togethers.
Its Uptown parade branch has a private room that can accommodate intimate holiday lunches or dinners for up to 12 people, and a large function room for 30 guests. Together, these two rooms can fit a maximum of 40. There is also an option to book the whole restaurant, including outdoor seating, for larger groups of up to 170 guests.
As with its main restaurant in Japan, the menu at the BGC branch is carefully crafted to reflect Chef Salvatore Cuomo’s attention to detail for using only the freshest and best ingredients.
Known for his hands-on approach to managing his restaurants, Chef Salvatore’s continuous quest for freshness takes him to Manila’s wet markets where he personally chooses seafood. He also brings in high quality ingredients like Wagyu from Japan, seafood from Europe, and cheeses and cured meats from Italy.
Salvatore Cuomo & Bar has party set menus including Party Plan A at P1,500 per person, which consists of Mozzarella Caprese Insalata di Mare, Insalata Mista di Stagione, Pizza Margherita, Quattro Formaggi, Spaghetti alle Vongole con Zucchine, Pomodorini Spaghetti al Pomodoro e Basilico, Homemade Roasted Pork Porchetta, and Mix Platter Dessert.
Party Plan B, which is priced at P2,000 per person, includes Selezione della Casa di Affettati, Misti Mozzarella Caprese, Insalata di Mare, Insalata Amore, Pizza Pollo affumicato e Nduja, Pizza Quattro Formaggi, Fettuccine al Nero di Seppia, Risotto ai Funghi Porcini, Sautéed Today’s Fish, Grigliata Misti (lamb, porchetta, homemade sausage), and Mix Platter Dessert.
Finally, the Party Plan C at P2,500 per person is composed of Selezione della Casa di Affettati Misti, Mozzarella Caprese, Insalata di Mare, two kinds of Yakitori, the celebrity chef’s World Champion “DOC” Pizza (an authentic Neapolitan pizza made with fresh cherry tomatoes, generous amount of bufala mozzarella, basil, and a splash of olive oil layered on a delicate crust), Quattro Formaggi, Spaghetti alla Vongole, Risotto al Parmigiano e Vino Rosso, Sautéed Today’s Fish, Grigliata Misti, and Mix Platter Dessert.
Diners can also customize their own menu so they can include other dishes such as Carpaccio di Manzo con Rucola, Insalata di Funghi, Spaghetti con Panna e Tartufo, Zuppa di Pesce, and Bistecca alla Fiorentina.
