An exciting lineup of free admission performances by different showcases—local and Asian—were enjoyed by performing arts enthusiasts, artists, and attendees of the event which was staged in partnership with the Manila International Performing Arts Market.

Among those who performed were the Asian Gems in the Arts’ Wang Juanjuan from China, Mendbayar Jargalsaikhan from Mongolia, Ea Torrado’s Daloy Dance Company from the Philippines, and Yushuyachi Ensemble from Taiwan.

AJ Villanueva’s Ripieno Ensemble also caught the attention of the attendees through their sound art or experimental music. This special chamber music produced by Create Philippines’ creative director Erwin Romulo was performed with instruments made from scratch, mixing wood, plastic, and metal to create a unique and haunting sound.
