The Caloocan City government headed by City Mayor Oscar Malapitan has joined the celebration of this year’s National Children’s Month.
The celebration has a theme: “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan para sa Magandang Kinabukasan.”
In his short message during his State of the Children Address, Malapitan laid down his continued support to the programs and projects for the children until his term ends.
“You can be sure that here in Caloocan City, children are always a priority, always loved, and always taken care of,” he said.
Meanwhile, the mayor was delighted with the declaration of four-year-old Andrei Ablaza as the city’s “Little Mayor” for the event.
Malapitan urged everyone to carry out the rights of the children in Caloocan.
