SM mall admin workers give kids their turn in PRIME program

Cabanatuan City—A total of 14 children of SM mall administration employees ages six to 12 have experienced how to work with SM through PRIME Kids event spearheaded by SM Human Resources Department here.

For SM employees, PRIME means Performance Driven, Results Oriented, Intense, Mindful, Exceptional.

Sharon Canino, HR manager, said SM's PRIME are the principles that everyone should practice to achieved common goals and to serve the SM customers at its finest.

She said the activity aims to allow the kids to experience the work and environment of their parents in SM and to encourage them to start dreaming on what they want to be in the future.

“We introduced different jobs to the kids like the works of an engineer, a customer relations manager, food court manager, nurse, and other mall duties to let them experience and dream of what they want be when they grew up," Canino said.

She said they also gave the children an understanding of how their parents work guided with PRIME principles and the power of camaraderie among others.

"The activities also involves mall tour which gave the kids an opportunity to see the behind the scene features of the mall," she said.

These activities include electromechanical building and the solar panels located at the mall roof deck that generates additional electrical power for the mall, she added.
