ORANI, Bataan—Barangay Mulawin in this town hosted the grandest Santacruzan in the province that featured some celebrities from GMA Network, headed by Max Collins as Reyna Elena.
Barangay Capt. Marvin Dela Cruz said the Santacruzan on Sunday was a highlight of the four-day barangay fiesta celebration, where businessman Jon Arizapa was the Hermano Mayor.
"We truly wanted the celebration to be colorful and memorable. We wanted to give utmost joy to the people," Dela Cruz said.
"The star-struck residents lined on the streets to take a glimpse of the Santacruzan Elenas. We were delighted that Orani folks were really entertained," recalled Arizapa.
"We will continue providing this kind of activity in the coming days to provide entertainment. We are planning to host an exhibition basketball match with Kapuso male stars,” he added.
Actor Pancho Magno, the real-life partner of Collins, escorted her. Other stars and models in the Mulawin Santacruzan were Arny Ross, Diva Montelaba, Anna de Leon, Patricia Reyes, Nelda Ibe, Nikki Gonzales, Vanessa Wright, and Kristi Banks.
