Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya—FCF Minerals Corporation has released more than P1 million for its livelihood assistance program for villagers.

FCF operates the gold-molybdenum mining project in barangay Runruno in this town.

Ian Moller, the firm’s acting general manager for operations, said the livelihood assistance called Pondong Pangkabuhayan Program was rolled out through the Community Relations Office-Social Development Section since September last year.

“The recipient livelihood groups were carefully reviewed and evaluated based on their project proposals,” he said.

Moller said the assistance received by the livelihood organizations will be offered as loans to its members with low-interest rates.
