The Department of Transportation in coordination with Cavite local government units, is set to start by June the additional Premium Point-to-Point Bus Service (P2P) routes connecting Noveleta town, and Bacoor, Imus and populous Dasmarinas City to Makati City terminal.

Richmund de Leon, DOTr’s Assistant Secretary for Transport, said the P2P transport system is one of the DOTr’s priority projects to alleviate traffic congestion, commuters’ safety, convenient, and comfortable transport system.

The target terminal of Noveleta town-Makati route is at PureGold in town proper area, according to Mayor Dino Reyes Chua.

The point-to-point service commitment prohibits frequent stops, as the buses will travel directly from the terminals to their drop off points specifically in Makati City terminal

DOTr is now in the final stages of selecting Bus operators, “which we hope to release next week or the week after”, as interested players were done submitting all the legal, technical, and financial documentary requirements, as specified by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).  They also target 15 bus units per new route.”
