The most daring television drama on TV this year, Halik, just achieved its all-time high national TV rating. The Jericho Rosales starrer gained its highest rating so far for its episode on Aug. 24 where his character and Jacky (Yen Santos) confront their respective spouses about their problems.
The national TV rating of Halik has been continuously rising since its premiere last Aug. 13, until it breached the 20-point mark two Fridays ago. It received a rating of 20.7 percent, beating its rival Inday Will Always Love You (12.9 percent), according to data from Kantar Media.
In the episode, Ace (Sam Milby) successfully covers up his affair with Jacky’s secretary, while Lino and Jade (Yam Concepcion) encounter another road bump to their independence when he announced that his family will move in with them in their new home.
