Engineering and infrastructure conglomerate Megawide, and MySpace Properties, recently kicked-off the construction of The Hive Tower D, the fourth and final tower in The Hive, a mid-rise residential development in Taytay, Rizal.
Tower D is a 16-storey condominium with 336 units and upper-level parking.
“We are very excited to begin our newest project with MySpace Properties, The Hive,” said Eric Tan, Megawide’s deputy head of construction (Seen in photo, 3rd from left).
Tower D will be built with the help of Megawide’s advanced formwork systems, which enable faster and more precise construction.
“For The Hive Tower D, we use formwork systems to build sections like retaining walls, shear walls, and slabs,” revealed Tan.
“Formworks are cost efficient primarily because of its data-driven, reusable, and repairable nature.”
MySpace Properties, Inc. vice-president for Sales & Marketing Gigi Alcantara (second from left) said that The Hive is created with the intention of providing balance for their residents.
"When we hear the word “hive”, we automatically think of busy bees,” she explained.
“But the hive is also their place of rest. Therefore, we are developing a sustainable community that has an interplay of work, rest, and play.”
The Hive is located in Ortigas Avenue Extension, Taytay, Rizal.
