Malate Construction and Development Corporation (MCDC) and Fukuoka, Japan-based Kyushu Yaesu, recently signed an agreement to housing projects in the Philippines. The first undertaking of the joint venture will be a 1,700-home project located in Candelaria, Quezon province.

“We felt that our partnership with MCDC is perfect,” said Hisao Nakashima, executive vice president of Kyushu Yaesu. “ In Japan, we are known for our quality homes sold at affordable prices for more than 40 years, and this is also the same with MCDC which has a solid track record for 30 years.” The partnership was facilitated by Asian Mergers & Acquisitions Link (AMAL), which was founded by  CEO Hideki Tanifuji (Shown here). Aside from the Candelaria project  both companies are looking at various provinces to build their next projects such as townhouses and villages.
