Asian Mergers and Acquisition Links (AMAL) recently partnered with Kyushu Yaesu Co., Ltd. and NedSteel Construction and Development Corp.  to build a low-cost housing project  in Nueva Ecija.  

Phase 1 of Peñaranda community (Seen in photo) and Phase 2 in Tabon are currently being developed by  the joint venture outfit, Hinata Housing Corporation, and is scheduled to be finished in three years.

 The prices of the homes range from P800,000 to P1.5 million for Peñaranda, and P1.5 million to P2 million for Tabon. Hideki Tanifuji, founder and CEO of AMAL said the Philippines  is rising as a  favored investment destination for Japanese construction companies.  

“We want to build homes for Filipinos – affordable yet quality homes which our company is known for back in Fukuoka,” said Nakashima.

At the signing of  the joint-venture agreement under Hinata Housing Corporation were  Edilberto Morcilla, director of Nedsteel; Antonio Lorenzano, chairman of Nedsteel; Hisao Nakashima, executive vice president of Kyushu;  and Akira Shiraishi, president of Ambitious Urban Development, Philippines, Inc.
