Construction and engineering firm Megawide Corporation recently celebrated back-to-back milestones with two of the country’s aggressive developers, Rockwell Land and Araneta Center, Inc. Rockwell Land and Megawide topped-off the Edades Suites at 68.9 metres last week. The project is a 23-storey prime residential development located in Makati, scheduled for completion in 2019. Megawide is the project’s general contractor for structural works. Megawide was the contractor for the Rockwell Business Center in Ortigas, and is currently completing the Lincoln and Lorraine towers of the Proscenium. Groundbreaking kicked off as well for Gateway Mall 2 and its adjacent hotel. Gateway 2, targeted for completion in 2020, will have seven floors and features such as a gourmet food hall, cinemas, a 500-seat chapel, an activity area and three levels of basement parking.
