Truth caravan

Las Piñas Mayor Mel Aguilar (center right) and Vice Mayor April Aguilar grace the launch of the National Capital Region edition of the Youth for Truth Caravan at the STI-Las Piñas Auditorium. Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Martin Andanar (center) was the keynote speaker in the event attended by the students of Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College of Las Piñas, STI, and members of Sangguniang Kabataan. The YFT Caravan aims to empower the youth by providing the knowledge and tools to combat fake news and disinformation. The participants attended different sessions to help them become critical and responsible social media users.
