Eulalio Austin Jr., president and chief executive of Philex Mining Corp., one of the oldest and largest copper and gold producers in Southeast Asia and a leader in right and responsible mining, is the guest of honor and speaker in the 50th luncheon of the Philippine Mining Club at I’M Hotel in Makati City. Austin spoke on the future of Philex’s Padcal and Silangan projects. Silangan Copper-Gold Project in Surigao del Norte is one of three big ticket projects that have the potential to propel the Philippines to becoming the top copper producer in the world.
