Two days after Typhoon ‘Ompong’ left the  country, the Department of the Interior and Local Government lauded the local chief executives and the Philippine National Police for their timely action which saved lives in seven regions across the country and give updated reports on the ongoing retrieval operation in the landslide that happened in Itogon, Benguet.
