Financial inclusion

KasamaKA, a pioneering grassroots-based movement aimed at empowering the unbanked population, is adopted as the financial inclusion and social advocacy program across 81 provinces.  Through KasamaKA, FINTQ, the financial arm of PLDT Inc. and Smart’s Voyager Innovations enables banks and non-bank financial institutions to offer ‘sachet’ financial services such as microsavings, microinsurance, lending, and micro investment.  At the signing of the agreement are (from left) Voyager Innovations president and chief executive Orlando Vea, PLDT Group chairman Manuel Pangilinan, League of Provinces of the Philippines national chairman Gov.
