Earth Hour tributes

Zumba dancers perform in front of the Quezon Memorial Shrine before the switching off of the lights for the Earth Hour environmental campaign in Manila on March 24.

Meanwhile, SM City San Mateo dimmed its mall lights for an hour in observance of the global effort, led by assistant mall manager Raymond Bonifacio, San Mateo Councilor Norbie Rivera, SM City San Mateo mall manager and Rizal Board Member Rommel Ayuson.

At SM City Taytay, dancers wear LED lights to form a Wi-Fi signal after the switch off. The mall participated by switching off half its lights for 60 minutes.
