AirAsia adds flights to Caticlan, Kalibo

Air Asia Inc. of the Romero family added more flights between Clark and Caticlan and resumed flights to Kalibo to serve the rising demand during the holiday season. 

The budget airline said the thrice-weekly flights from Clark to Kalibo and the additional flight from Clark to Caticlan started on Oct. 17. 

“Our additional services are in response to the increased demand for flights to Boracay, especially this holiday season. Guests can fly from Clark to either Kalibo or Caticlan, giving them more flexibility and options,” AirAsia Philippines chief executive Ricardo Isla said.

“Boracay is a top holiday destination, and we are proud to contribute to the region’s reemerging tourism since its closure last year,” he said.

The airline operates several flights to and from Manila, Davao, Cebu, Kalibo, Caticlan (Boracay), Tacloban, Tagbilaran (Bohol), Puerto Princesa (Palawan), Clark and Iloilo in the Philippines.

It also operates international flights to and from Shanghai, Taipei, Incheon (Seoul), Hong Kong, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Guangzhou, Vietnam, Shenzhen, Kaohshing, Bali, Shenzhen, Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan.
