FamilyDOC ready to open biggest clinic

FamilyDOC, the country’s largest retail clinic chain owned by the Ayala group under AC Healthcare Holdings Inc., is set to open its 70th and largest clinic along Earnshaw St. in Sampaloc, Manila.

AC Health president and chief executive Paolo Borromeo said FamilyDOC was eager to expand into more areas in Metro Manila in line with its target to have 100 clinics by 2020.

“We’ve been extremely encouraged by the positive feedback of our patients, many of whom have become our regular customers, returning about two to three times in a year. This is a big improvement, considering that most Filipinos see a doctor only once every two years. We’re excited to finally offer our services in the heart of Manila. The bigger format will allow us to accommodate more patients, while still maintaining the affordable, quality care that FamilyDOC stands for,” Borromeo said.

FamilyDOC offers primary healthcare services, including consultations, diagnostics tests, and a pharmacy.

FamilyDOC general manager Paul Darroca said they were on-track to reach their goal of 100 clinics by 2020. FamilyDOC has served more than 450,000 unique patients since it opened in December 2015.
