Jollibee Foods Corp., the biggest fast-food chain in the country, will open the first Panda Express restaurant in SM Megamall in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Jollibee did not disclose the opening date of the Panda Express outlet, America’s largest family-owned and operated Chinese American restaurant concept.
“As it stretches from coast to coast and around the world, the Panda Express will soon arrive in Manila. Finally, Filipinos will get to enjoy dining in America’s favorite Chinese restaurant,” Jollibee said in a statement.
The location of the first Panda Express was finalized one year after Jollibee formed a 50:50 joint venture with Panda Restaurant Group Inc. to bring Panda Express restaurants to the Philippines.
The partners plan to focus on developing five stores in Metro Manila in the initial phase.
The two restaurant companies aim to deliver exceptional dining experiences through their shared foundation and commitment to their dedicated employees, loyal guests, and great operations.
