Traveloka makes paying for your travel bookings so much easier with BPI or BDO online transfer

If you had to describe online shopping with just one word, “fast” or “easy” would probably be among the top choices. Whether you’re shopping for clothes, groceries, booking an airline ticket or hotel room, you can accomplish it with just a few clicks.

However, even if online transactions are quicker than offline ones, some Filipinos are still hesitant to try it. Why? Because most platforms often require credit cards as forms of payment. This can be frustrating: imagine the feeling of excitement of choosing a hotel room, only to find out that you can’t finish the transaction because you need a credit card. Many people end up borrowing a credit card from a friend or a loved one; some even forego online booking and go through the hassle of booking directly with a travel agency instead.

But thanks to Traveloka, you no longer need to worry about not having a credit card to pay for your flight and hotel bookings. They have partnered with top banks, BDO and BPI, to allow customers to pay through online banking transfers. After making a booking, simply choose “Bank Transfer” when you’re asked to pick a payment method. Choose between BDO and BPI transfer, and then Traveloka will send further instructions to your email to complete your payment.

If you’re using the Traveloka App to make a booking,  you can simply copy and paste the account details to either of the specified banking apps to avoid any errors. You should also note that with BDO transfers, there is a limit of P10,000 per transaction. Another important thing to remember is that there is a period for payments, as indicated on the app/website instructions

Once the online transfer is completed, toggle back to the Traveloka App or website and click “I have completed the payment.” To speed up the verification process, you can upload a screenshot of the online transfer. After Traveloka verifies the payment, you will be sent a voucher that contains all the details you need for your booking.

Traveloka also has a 24/7 local customer support team to address you booking concerns. The Traveloka App has a feature called MyInbox, which allows you to send and receive messages within the app — no need to switch screens. You can also contact the customer support team via phone call, email, Facebook message, or live chat.
